Homework
  • Finish the Listening activity 7c on p15. After that, make a draft of a family anecdote you'll have to tell your partners next day. It can be true or false. You must tell it and not read it. You can use the anecdotes of the listening as models
  • Pronunciation practice 3b,c (p13) and 5a,b (p14) on your own
  • Do Reading exercises 6b,c,d on p14-15. Key below
  • Read the emails on p187 and do exercises 1a,b,c & d. Key below
  • ONLY FOR THE 8 EMAIL VOLUNTEERS: Write an informal email to a penfriend (100-125 words). Divide it into paragraphs and talk about yourself (personal details, family,personality, hobbies, interests, etc.) and ask a question to your penfriend in the last paragraph. You can use the sample on p187. Don't forget to include: family and personality vocab + will/shall/present continuous/going to verb forms  Deadline: Wednesday, 23rd October
