  • On Monday 9th, we're going to practice the speaking skill with monologues. There are 2 models (7&8), one for you and the other for your partner. Prepare your card on your own to make it similar to the exam. You need to include:present perfect, past tenses, first conditional and the related vocabulary, either sport or environment. Remember there's a monologue in the blog

  • Past tense handouts. Check with the key
  • Write a collaborative anecdote (175-200 words) in groups of 3. There is a model on p189. Use it after doing exercise c. You must include: past tenses and vocabulary related to the topic of the opening sentence. Follow the instructions on an email sent to you. Deadline: Friday 6th March
  • Write an opinion essay on the following topic: 'Should physical education be optional or compulsory at school?' (175-200 words). Use the model and structure in your opinion essay handout. You must include: present perfect, modal verbs and vocabulary of sport.  Deadline: Friday 13th March
